India’s Nifty 50 rose 1.05% Thursday to close at 22,936.75, while The Economic Times reported two Friday stock calls after the Federal Reserve held the federal funds target range at 3.75% to 4%.
The Federal Open Market Committee voted 10-2 on Oct. 28 to keep the range unchanged. Lisa D. Cook and Beth M. Hammack dissented in favor of a 0.25-percentage-point increase. The Fed said, “Inflation remains elevated.”
The Economic Times attributed the calls to Virat Jagad, a senior technical research analyst at Bonanza Portfolio. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (Adani Ports) closed at ₹1,872 on the NSE Thursday, up 6.29%, according to NSE data. The report listed an entry range of ₹1,870 to ₹1,875, a ₹1,795 stop-loss and a ₹2,019 target. Its accompanying analysis separately described potential upside toward ₹1,950 to ₹2,000.
For Eternal, the report listed an entry range of ₹337 to ₹339, a ₹323 stop-loss and a ₹364 target. NSE data showed the stock closed at ₹337.85, up 3.63%. The Economic Times said a sustained break above ₹342 could open a move toward ₹350 to ₹360, a separate range from its listed target. The report did not cite an original Bonanza research note.
PTI’s market wrap linked the broader rally to easing crude prices and the Fed’s rate pause. It quoted a Geojit Investments analyst who pointed to oil costs, rupee weakness and higher domestic bond yields as risks for India, which imports oil.
The Bank of Japan’s published calendar lists a monetary policy meeting for Oct. 29-30; PTI flagged it for investors to watch.
