The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) accepted all ₹23,000 crore notified for sale in a three-maturity Treasury bill auction, with cut-off yields ranging from 5.9337% to 6.6900%. The result contrasts with the RBI’s Oct. 21 auction, when it accepted no bills across the same maturities, as EconoTimes previously reported.
The RBI’s Oct. 28 result showed acceptance of ₹8,000 crore each in 91-day and 182-day bills and ₹7,000 crore in 364-day bills. Those amounts matched the face values notified for each maturity.
Cut-off prices were ₹98.5422 for the 91-day bills, ₹96.8376 for the 182-day bills and ₹93.7456 for the 364-day bills. The corresponding yields to maturity were 5.9337%, 6.5493% and 6.6900%.
