The Indian Hotels Company Limited raised its fiscal 2027 consolidated revenue growth forecast after a stronger September quarter, while other Indian companies reported higher energy sales and adjusted revenue.
Indian Hotels now expects consolidated revenue to grow 15% to 17% in fiscal 2027, up from its previous forecast of 12% to 14%. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 21% from a year earlier to ₹2,566 crore, while profit after tax increased 23% to ₹349 crore.
The company said higher room revenue at comparable domestic hotels and increased management fees contributed to growth. It described the period as its 18th consecutive record quarter. The revised forecast sets a higher benchmark for the rest of its fiscal year.
Adani Green Energy Ltd sold 12,090 million units of electricity in the same quarter, up 33% from a year earlier. Its power-supply revenue rose 45% to ₹4,019 crore, while EBITDA from power supply increased 51% to ₹3,835 crore. EBITDA refers to earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization.
At the end of its fiscal first half, Adani Green Energy had 20.8 gigawatts of operational renewable capacity and 6.63 gigawatt-hours of installed battery storage. The company linked higher first-half energy sales to added capacity. Adani Green Energy CEO Ashish Khanna said it was monitoring the availability of transmission infrastructure as it expanded storage.
Eternal Ltd., whose businesses include Zomato, Blinkit, District and Hyperpure, reported consolidated adjusted revenue of ₹24,621 crore for the September quarter, up 76% from a year earlier. Its consolidated adjusted EBITDA rose 197% to ₹666 crore. Both are adjusted company measures.
PC Jeweller Limited estimated in an Oct. 7 business update that its consolidated revenue for the quarter rose about 28% from a year earlier. The jeweler said the estimate was provisional and subject to limited review.
PC Jeweller disclosed on Sept. 25 that it had repaid the debt owed to its bank consortium ahead of schedule, as detailed in earlier coverage of the consortium repayment. An Oct. 8 filing said the banks had released related security and guarantees, completing the clearance formalities. The company expects the repayment to reduce future interest costs.
