PC Jeweller shares retreated on Oct. 28 after a period of gains, as the Indian jeweler reported a 57.8% year-over-year increase in consolidated profit after tax for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026.
The company reported profit after tax of ₹330.66 crore, compared with ₹209.54 crore in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue from operations rose to ₹1,054.47 crore from ₹825.25 crore, while total expenses increased to ₹759.42 crore from ₹688.85 crore. The unaudited figures cover the three months ended Sept. 30. The share-price decline was not explained in the results filing.
The filing also reported ₹142.14 crore realized from export receivables during the quarter. Bankers approved an additional ₹13.16 crore in discounts for foreign buyers.
PC Jeweller said it repaid outstanding dues to its 14-bank consortium on Sept. 25, ahead of schedule. It said lenders released related assets and securities on Oct. 8. The company described the repayment as achieving “debt-free status” and said it had zero bank borrowings. Its Sept. 30 consolidated balance sheet separately listed ₹226 crore in current borrowings and ₹8.83 crore in non-current borrowings; the filing did not name the counterparties.
The jeweler plans to add as many as 100 large-format showrooms over the next 12 to 18 months, using company-operated outlets and franchises. It is also planning a separate brand for lightweight and lab-grown-diamond jewelry.
PC Jeweller expects interest costs to fall significantly in the second half of fiscal 2027 and said the reduction would benefit net profit.
