Infosys set Nov. 3 as the record date for a ₹26 interim dividend for fiscal 2027, with payment due Nov. 11, as the per-share payout rises 13% from the previous year's interim amount.

The board announced the payment alongside September-quarter results on Oct. 23. The record date determines which shareholders qualify. The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) also lists Nov. 3 as the ex-dividend date. Based on the NSE's T+1 settlement cycle, Monday, Nov. 2, is the last regular trading day to buy shares and qualify for the payout.

Infosys Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka described the ₹26 amount as “an increase of 13% from last year.” The previous year's interim dividend was ₹23 a share. EconoTimes had previewed the board's dividend review ahead of the results in its earlier report.

At the NSE's Oct. 30 closing price of ₹1,185, the interim dividend works out to an indicative yield of about 2.19%. Infosys' total FY2026 dividend of ₹48 per share would equal about 4.05% at the same reference price. The first calculation uses only the interim payment, while the second uses the completed FY2026 total. Infosys has not announced a full-year FY2027 dividend.

Company dividend records list ₹43 per share for FY2025 and ₹46 for FY2024. The FY2024 total includes a special ₹8 payment; its interim and final dividends together were ₹38.

Infosys' capital-return policy, effective from FY2025, sets a five-year target tied to free cash flow: the company aims to return about 85% of the accumulated amount through some mix of semiannual dividends, share buybacks and/or special dividends. The policy is subject to applicable laws and required approvals. Infosys typically recommends a final dividend alongside its annual results in April, with shareholder approval at the annual general meeting required.

The next scheduled step is payment of the interim dividend on Nov. 11.
