A one-day selloff cut Innodata’s market value by about $500 million Tuesday, Oct. 27, as shares fell more than 25% following employee reports of close to 550 India job cuts.

The company has not publicly confirmed the estimate. A notice to one employee lists Oct. 26 as the role’s end date and cites a “ramp-down of the business assignment.” It leaves the customer and number of affected jobs unspecified.

Innodata plans to publish third-quarter 2026 results after trading ends Nov. 5. An investor call is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET (22:00 UTC).
