COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Oct. 20, 2016 -- Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announced the appointment of Doug Massey as senior vice president of sales. Massey will be leading the sales team, overseeing operational performance and developing the overall sales growth strategy for Insurance Technologies ForeSight® illustration, FireLight® e-application and future product offerings.
Massey brings over 26 years of insurance and financial technology experience, driving business development around sales automation. With deep knowledge of insurance and financial services industries operations, technology and standards, Massey will provide strong consultative leadership to the Insurance Technologies sales team to sell and deliver impactful products that meet new and existing client business objectives.

In his role as senior vice president of sales, Massey will be responsible for defining and managing the overall strategic sales objectives to fortify company growth, product adoption, industry relationships and customer satisfaction. Massey will be a strategic liaison between internal and external client teams to define requirements and deliverables that meet client goals. Working with the marketing and product teams, Massey will ensure that key communications and product enhancements are coordinated to support sales plan objectives, go-to market plans and develop new product value strategies to meet advancing industry needs.

Massey holds extensive industry experience in areas of business development and consulting, strategic planning, solution engineering, product concept, marketing and sales engineering of insurance automation solutions. Prior to Insurance Technologies, Massey was vice president of sales for EbixExchange, at Ebix, Inc., where he expanded life and annuity enterprise sales, and influenced product strategy. Prior to his role at Ebix, Inc., Massey drove solution sales and marketing in senior level positions as vice president of sales and marketing at Capital Rock, LLC, a provider of financial services cross-selling engines and intelligent needs analysis solutions, and as vice president of insurance services at Blue Frog Solutions, a life & annuity software solutions provider. Earlier in his career Massey oversaw sales, product management and marketing for InsurQuote Systems, Inc., a LexisNexis company. Most recently, Massey was vice president of insurance automation services at Bulldog Consulting Services where he led a team focused on system integration, process re-engineering, project management and strategic planning around insurance automation practices and development.
