J.P. Morgan Private Bank has expanded its Dubai operations with a branch at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), amid growth in the district’s family-related entities.

In its first-half 2026 results, DIFC put the number of family-related entities at 1,408, a 36% increase from a year earlier. It also counted 592 wealth and asset management firms.

DIFC announced the branch opening Nov. 2. The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) regulates the branch, which will serve clients in the United Arab Emirates and, where permitted, elsewhere in the region. J.P. Morgan said its Dubai private banking team had grown to more than three times its size 12 months earlier.

J.P. Morgan has maintained a DIFC base for corporate and investment banking for about 20 years. Separately, the DFSA register lists JPMorgan International Advisors DIFC Limited as authorized to advise on financial products and arrange investment deals.
