Crypto analyst JD (@jaydee_757) forecast a deeper XRP decline in an Oct. 18 post on X unless warning signs were negated, but left both the signs and any downside target unspecified.

His chart placed XRP (XRP) near $1.2877, below a weekly exponential moving average at $1.5085. It also marked an earlier high near $1.4197.

The chart labeled the $1.25-$1.30 range as a dollar-cost averaging area. JD said he had posted that zone on Patreon since early August. He also said he would buy more if a deeper crash occurred.

An EconoTimes market snapshot from Oct. 18 separately placed XRP near $1.30.
