‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 13, titled “Chapter Fifty-Seven,” will follow Jane as she deals with something she did at Mateo’s school. Meanwhile, her father Rogelio will turn to someone unexpected after getting sued for quitting his reality television show.
The synopsis for episode 13 posted on TV Guide states, “Jane (Gina Rodriguez) missteps at Mateo's (Aria Rose Garcia) school, so Petra (Yael Grobglas) suggests she redeem herself at a school fund-raiser. Meanwhile, Jane has her first meeting with her editor; Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is unsure about moving in with his girlfriend; and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is sued for quitting his reality show.”
It seems that Jane’s personal and professional life will get even more complicated in the upcoming episode of The CW’s satirical romantic comedy-drama television series. The titular character will get into trouble at her child’s school and will need to get back into the preschool director’s good graces by helping with the school’s fund-raiser program as suggested by Petra. At work, Jane also gets excited about her first meeting with her editor but it turns out that he was not what she expected him to be.
Her father Rogelio will also be facing a lawsuit after he quit his reality television show. He then hires a lawyer to get him through the case but when the lawyer seemingly makes things worse, he has no choice but to enlist the help of someone totally unexpected.
Rogelio is forced to turn to Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) boyfriend Bruce (guest star Ricardo Chavira) to get him out of his predicament. According to Christian Post, Rogelio will find this wholly discomforting since he wouldn’t want to be indebted to the new man in Xo’s life. Meanwhile, Bruce will ask Jane and Alba (Ivonne Coll) to help him in surprising Xo.
Rafael will also find himself in a conundrum when his new girlfriend Abby (guest star Minka Kelly) suggests that they move in together. He is hesitant to pursue a deeper level of commitment and will need to turn to Jane and Petra for advice.
‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 13, titled “Chapter Fifty-Seven,” is scheduled to air on The CW on February 27, 2017. It was directed by Zetna Fuentes and written by Madeline Hendricks.
