Al Jazeera’s Oct. 26 video report documented how military barriers affect pupils traveling to school in Jenin.

Al Jazeera's Oct. 24 coverage described movement controls during military operations across the territory. It said Palestinians could not pass through checkpoints or crossings across the West Bank and estimated about 200 Palestinian families had been displaced in Hebron. EconoTimes previously summarized that earlier account of movement restrictions and displacement.

In separate reporting on Oct. 23, The Associated Press said gates and checkpoints shut routes from Palestinian villages to major roads. Israeli motorists, including settlers, remained able to use those roads, though delays were possible. The AP also reported Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered a cordon around Hebron and directed forces to prepare a full West Bank closure after two Israeli soldiers were killed in a shooting near Hebron on Oct. 23.
