Bitget has listed a perpetual contract tied to Jio Platforms as the Indian company’s public offering reaches its scheduled close Oct. 23, giving markets a derivatives instrument alongside the share sale.

For JIOUSDT, Bitget provides a 9.21 billion-share reference input that it labels an estimate; it cautions that Jio’s final total could differ. The contract settles in Tether (USDT).

A position in the contract does not make the holder a Jio shareholder.

Reliance Industries disclosed an offer for as many as 270 million newly issued Jio shares, priced from ₹1,065 to ₹1,119 each. Bidding began Oct. 21. Jio Platforms is Reliance Industries’ digital and telecom business; our earlier coverage of Jio’s IPO terms provides more detail.

The offering is scheduled to close Oct. 23.
