“Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 will be released in a few days, and the latest teasers have shown fans some of the most significant scenes they should look forward to. For one, the scene where Miyuki Shirogane gets introduced to his new rival is confirmed to be included in the upcoming episodes.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War’ season 2 spoilers: What to expect
The latest promo video confirms that a significant part of “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 will revolve around the student council election. While Shirogane is not new to this affair, this is going to be a different situation, mostly because of the arrival of a new character.
At one point in the “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 trailer below, Chika Fujiwara, Yu Ishigami, and Miyuki can be seen looking at the school’s bulletin board where the election forecast is posted. This particular scene in the manga leads to Miyuki meeting Miko Iino, who immediately addresses him as “ex-president.”
This also confirms that “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 will cover Miyuki’s re-election campaign. It is pertinent for him to win since the dynamic of the four main characters, including Kaguya Shinomiya, is highlighted mostly when they are working together as student council officers. More importantly, Miyuki needs to stay in office, so his psychological war to win a love confession from Kaguya can continue.
Miko might be a freshman, but she is dignified and is qualified to be a student leader. Anime-only fans might not like her at first, but being a misunderstood girl is one of the main aspects of her character. However, her introduction and campaign as student council president will somehow benefit Miyuki as a character in “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War’ season 2 release date: Where to watch
Fans will appreciate “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 as it will also include story arcs to further introduce the main characters. For one, the latest trailer includes scenes from the manga chapters where Yu’s backstory was tackled.
Luckily, the wait for “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 will be over soon as it will premiere on Saturday, April 11. New episodes will stream exclusively on Funimation.
