Kalshi pricing showed a split in year-end crypto expectations Saturday, with XRP’s $2 probability rising to 18% while Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) readings fell, offering a snapshot of how the market values price thresholds.
Kalshi’s year-end contract put XRP’s chance of reaching $2 at 18%, three percentage points above the previous day’s 15% comparison. Bitcoin’s $100,000 target stood at 13%, down one point, while its $120,000 threshold was at 4%. Ether’s $3,500 target was priced at 8%, down three points.
The XRP reading has varied over recent months: Kalshi priced the same year-end target at 44% on Sept. 2 and 61% on Sept. 23. A separate EconoTimes snapshot from Oct. 30 put it at 20.5%, a different reading from the 15% comparison used Saturday.
These percentages describe contract pricing for a target and deadline; they do not establish that XRP has traded at $2. CoinGecko and exchange spot data put XRP at $1.25, down 0.25% over 24 hours, as of 7:17 a.m. ET (11:17 UTC).
