Kalshi’s Oct. 17 contracts assigned a 20% chance to XRP reaching $2 by year-end, giving traders a probability-based measure of the token’s outlook alongside separate targets for Bitcoin and Ether.
The XRP contract’s reading was two percentage points higher than its comparison figure from the previous day. An EconoTimes report based on an Oct. 16 snapshot recorded 34% for the same contract, using an 18% reading for comparison. The reports reflect separate snapshots and comparison readings.
Bitcoin’s year-end contract stood at 24% for a $100,000 threshold, down one percentage point from its comparison reading. Its $120,000 threshold was at 7%. Ether’s contract for reaching $3,500 by year-end was at 16%, also one point lower.
For targets due by the end of October, Bitcoin stood at 32% for $87,500 and 18% for $90,000. Ether’s $3,000 threshold was at 9%, while XRP’s $1.60 target carried a 16% reading.
Kalshi’s XRP readings have shifted over the period covered: the contract stood at 61% on Sept. 23, compared with 20% in the Oct. 17 snapshot. The percentages are estimates for those contract thresholds by their deadlines; they do not establish whether prices reached them.
