A default monthly deposit ceiling of $2,500 applies to Kalshi customers ages 18 to 20, one of the protections the event-contract platform announced Oct. 27.

Kalshi also outlined trade alerts and education for younger users. EconoTimes previously described related safeguards, including a planned alert for some newer traders when one position exceeds a quarter of their balance.

The ceiling limits deposits made in a month; it is separate from a measure of trading activity.
