Kate Middleton, Prince William marriage: Are divorce rumors affecting Prince George's birthday?

Much like celebrity couples, Prince William and Kate Middleton are always hounded by relentless rumors of separation and allegations of infidelity. But the British royal couple still appears to have a good marriage with a happy family.

Fans of the British royal family will be happy to know that Prince William and Middleton do not seem to let all those rumors affect their bonding moments with their three children. This is especially true now that Prince George is only a couple of days away from his 6th birthday.

Prince George gets another island vacation for birthday celebration

The eldest child of Prince William and Middleton will turn six years old on Monday, July 22. Since his birthday happens to also be during his summer vacation from school, it sounds right for the Cambridges to head back to the Caribbean for this special occasion.

The Sun reported, through an anonymous source, that Prince William and his family are returning to the private island of Mustique located in the Caribbean archipelago nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It can be recalled that this is also where they celebrated Prince George’s 5th birthday.

“It is incredibly private and incredibly discreet but not remote. They know and trust the staff who work there and they are creatures of habit,” the same insider added. It was also reported that Prince William’s in-laws had frequented the island before. So the destination is something that seems to be familiar to the family.

Divorce rumors and cheating allegations

Earlier this year, Prince William and Middleton face another slew of rumors insisting they were planning to get a divorce. The marital problems are even blamed on the prince’s alleged infidelity and involvement with Middleton’s close friend Rose Hanbury.

The two women were reportedly no longer friends, according to a source of The Sun, but the reason behind it was never mentioned. However, it continued to fuel speculations that Hanbury was at the center of the supposed marital issues Middleton was having with Prince William. The royal family has not spent much effort in debunking the rumors, but Prince William and Middleton’s recent public appearances suggest that all is well between them.
