Another wedding rumor concerning Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx is circulating, claiming that the “Dawso's Creek” alum has already chosen a dress and venue for their nuptials, OK! Australia reports (via Gossip Cop). As the tabloid would have it, the “Batman Begins” actress is supposedly sending “some serious bridal vibes” to Foxx as a form of heavy hinting.
However, judging by the past statements of both celebrities, the publication is likely pushing another false narrative. Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx has said time and again that they aren’t interested in tying the knot together. They even insist that they aren’t a couple despite acting otherwise.
What Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have is an unorthodox relationship that isn’t bound by traditional rules of dating. Instead, they only spend time together if their schedules allow it. Outside of that, the pair tries to lead their own lives, engaging in their respective work and caring for their loved ones.
As for OK! Australia, the publication has developed a reputation for publishing stories that are completely unfounded. It also has got quite the history of dealing with court proceedings stemming from publishing stories that are blatantly damaging to celebrities' images. While this Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx narrative isn’t necessarily detrimental to the careers of both stars, it goes without saying that it’s still in bad taste to create a story that has no bearing whatsoever.
The publication was also described by Media Watch as “garbage journalism” for its proclivity to use sensationalized headlines and content. What’s true regarding Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx is that both these celebrities are enjoying what they have at the moment and aren’t trying to rush things moving forward.
The latest sighting of the pair was in Atlanta, a day after they were photographed working out together. Jamie Foxx is currently in the city as he’s shooting for his upcoming movie “Just Mercy,” a film about clearing an innocent man’s name after he was accused of committing murder. Meanwhile, Katie Holmes is supposedly visiting the “Django” actor since her schedule isn’t as demanding compared to his.
