A lot can be said about the Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx relationship, but one of the most crucial is just how undoubtedly wholesome it is. This is basically a bond that transcended Hollywood and celebrity norms in that there was no great fanfare. Everything was kept private and secret until it no longer needed to be. Recently, even the hip-hop singer’s daughter was comfortable enough to talk about her dad’s love life.
Corinne Foxx recently gave the media a glimpse into the love life of the Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx couple, which had so far been largely shielded from public view, Heavy reports. This followed the pair’s appearance during the 2019 Met Gala, which basically became their first official public declaration of their love.
“They are so great, and Katie is always so chic. They were wonderful … [It was] my dad’s first Met Gala … They’re really good, really great,” she had said.
It’s worth noting that up until this point, the Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx pairing was partly considered something of a myth. This is due to how elusive the two had been and how heavily they guarded their private lives. The “Django Unchained” actor said as much when he was confronted with a question regarding his relationship with Tom Cruise’s ex-wife six years ago.
“(The rumors) are 100% not true. In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people,” the actor had told Entertainment Tonight.
It’s unclear when exactly the Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx relationship started, but the general assumption is that they have been together for the better part of five years. That is the conservative estimate since many are claiming that they had been a thing for over seven, but that might be pushing it a bit. Either way, the cat’s out of the bag now, and the two can finally breathe easy.
