The total exceeded the 69,002 vehicles Kia sold in October 2025 and was its strongest October on record. From January through September, the company sold 667,386 vehicles in the United States, compared with 636,148 in the same period last year.
Kia said hybrid sales rose 114% from a year earlier. It reported a 112% increase in October sales of electrified models.
The company’s retailers sold 68,926 vehicles, up 20% from October 2025 and a record for the month. Kia’s model figures show sales of 1,406 EV9s, 976 EV3s and 803 EV6s. It also reported October sales highs for the Telluride, Seltos, Carnival, K4 and Sportage.
Kia sold 852,155 vehicles in the United States in 2025, its third consecutive annual record. Eric Watson, Kia America’s vice president of sales operations, said the company is aiming for a fourth. Sales in November and December will determine whether it reaches that goal.
