Reuters reported Sunday that the suspect in a Krakow shooting that killed six had made few visits to a sports club that does not train firing while moving or from a vehicle.

Club spokesperson Adam Chyb told Reuters the suspect became a member of Swit Starachowice in 2022. Chyb recalled only a small number of appearances, two during 2026; the suspect's father, a longtime member, was present whenever he came. Chyb also recalled no behavior that raised concern and said he never saw the suspect in military clothing.

Chyb said the club's sports shooting practice did not cover firing while running or from a car. “I wouldn't know how to shoot like that,” he told Reuters, adding that police and military personnel train in those techniques.

Authorities said the suspect and members of his family held licenses for 11 firearms. Poland's government said the suspect may have been influenced by far-right ideology, a claim nationalist opposition politicians disputed. EconoTimes previously covered the investigation into possible far-right influence.
