LG CNS and Chainlink will work together on digital-asset services for South Korean institutions, bringing Chainlink infrastructure into the Korean company’s platform work and planned institutional offerings.

Chainlink’s systems support connections between different blockchains, data services and coordination of activity. LG CNS intends to apply those capabilities as it develops services for institutional customers.

The partnership adds to LG CNS’ earlier work in the sector. The company has discussed tokenization services for Korean financial institutions with Securitize. It also holds the lead contracting role on Project Hangang, the Bank of Korea’s flagship digital-currency project.
