LG Electronics announced last Friday the shipment of its latest offering “LG V10”. It said that the smartphone will make its debut in the United States, China and Hong Kong, followed by key markets in North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
TechTimes said that T-Mobile is offering the smartphone for $599.99, starting October 30. AT&T will start selling the handset from November 6 for $249.99 on a two-year contract, while those who want to purchase it without contract should expect to pay $699.99.
The handset looks very appealing with stainless steel body and has two layers of glass to protect against damage from direct impact. It has also obtained military standard certification for the transit drop test.
It features 5.7-inch IPS Quantum display. Resolution: 2560x1440 Quad HD. Also it has “Second Screen”, 2.1-inch IPS Quantum Display – which keeps the user informed with time, date and notification status even when the main display is off. Moreover, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expansion up to 2TB.
Speaking of Camera, it features 16 MP rear camera, dual 5 MP Front cameras. The LG V10 is specifically built for video. Its innovative Steady Record video stabilization technology reduces the effects of a shaky hand to give clearer, more usable footage than ever before—even when one is on the go. With enhanced videography and editing features, superior audio functionality and seamless social sharing, the LG V10 offers a whole new experience.
“Designed from the ground up primarily as a multimedia smartphone, the LG V10 is the ultimate device for the sharing ecosystem,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Consumers have been waiting for a true multimedia device that doesn’t cut corners. With the V10, we hope to show what smartphones are truly capable of.”
Also, by purchasing V10 before 15 November, users will get free 200GB microSD card, an extra 3000mAh battery, and a battery charging cradle. LG says total bundle value is over $300. The promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, D.C., and Puerto Rico, age 18 or older who make a purchase of a new LG V10 device via any carrier or authorized retailers including Amazon with operator services, AT&T, Best Buy, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Carrier authorized retailors reselling operator services.
