Luxshare Precision Industry shares gained on Monday after the major Apple supplier reported strong first-half earnings and projected double-digit profit growth for the first nine months of the year, supported by expanding demand across consumer electronics, data centers and automotive electronics.
The Shenzhen-listed company posted net profit attributable to shareholders of 7.84 billion yuan ($1.17 billion) for the six months ended June, representing an 18% increase from 6.64 billion yuan in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue showed even stronger momentum, surging 40.2% year over year to 174.5 billion yuan. Adjusted net profit increased at a more moderate pace of 6.5% to 5.96 billion yuan.
Investors responded positively to the Luxshare earnings report, sending the company's shares 2.4% higher to 55.00 yuan by 05:15 GMT.
Luxshare also delivered an upbeat outlook for the first nine months. The company expects net profit to increase between 15% and 25% from a year earlier, reaching approximately 13.25 billion yuan to 14.40 billion yuan. Adjusted profit is projected to grow between 8.6% and 22.8%.
Growth was broad-based across Luxshare's major business segments. Consumer electronics revenue increased 19.3%, reflecting continued demand for devices and related components. Communications and data-center revenue climbed 49.7% as investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure accelerated.
The automotive electronics division recorded the strongest expansion, with revenue soaring 274.1%. Luxshare said the increase partly reflected the integration of Leoni, strengthening its position in the automotive technology market.
Looking ahead, Luxshare expects artificial intelligence to remain an important growth driver. Rising adoption of AI-enabled devices and continued investment in AI data-center infrastructure are expected to generate additional opportunities for the company.
Luxshare also highlighted new connectivity, thermal-management and power-management projects as potential contributors to future growth, further diversifying its operations beyond its established consumer electronics business.
