LayerZero has set Nov. 30 for a joint rollout of its Zero blockchain and lzATLAS engine, which is designed to give venues shared trading infrastructure.
LayerZero says Open ATLAS is expected to support more than a dozen trading venues at launch. That is a launch plan, rather than a count of venues confirmed to be trading on the date.
Venues would run the apps used by their customers; ATLAS would supply order matching, trade clearing and settlement, and risk controls. LayerZero introduced the system in August and plans to make it the first application on Zero.
Under LayerZero’s fee plan, venues would receive rebates of 20% to 65%, depending on trading volume, the amount of LayerZero (ZRO) they stake, or both. Of the fees remaining after rebates, 75% would fund ZRO purchases and burns. The other 25% would go to market creators, which choose the assets available for trading.
LayerZero’s 200,000-transactions-per-second figure is the capacity it intends to provision at launch, rather than a result recorded on the live network.
The company says venues are integrating and testing the system ahead of Nov. 30. It expects additional venues to join later in 2026.
