Lexsoft Systems says it will offer Clio’s legal AI and practice-management software across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with integrations to clients’ existing systems.
In an announcement dated Oct. 19, Lexsoft described the arrangement as a partnership with Clio and said the offer was available immediately to law firms and corporate legal departments. Lexsoft plans to configure Clio environments for clients and connect the products to software they already use.
The offer combines two products for different parts of legal work. Clio Manage handles practice management, including matter and client information. Clio Work is a legal AI workspace that supports research, analysis and drafting. It can use matter, client, document and other information from Manage alongside Clio’s legal-document library.
Clio says its library holds more than 1 billion legal documents from over 100 countries. The arrangement brings a firm’s matter information together with that library in the Work product. Lexsoft did not name the systems it plans to connect or provide prices, contract duration or financial terms.
Lexsoft CEO Carlos García-Egocheaga said connecting the products to clients’ existing systems is intended to deliver what he called “AI that works the way they do.” The announcement did not provide a country-by-country rollout schedule.
Clio announced on Sept. 9 that Work and Manage had become available to legal professionals in Spain. Lexsoft’s company profile says it serves more than 250 customers worldwide, including nine of Spain’s 10 largest law firms.
