New Hires Diversify Firm’s Capabilities and Deepen Industry Expertise
Veterans Linda Dyson and Drew Levinson Join Team of Physicians, Scientists, Industry and Media Professionals
NEW YORK, Nov. 29, 2017 -- LifeSci Public Relations LLC (LSPR) today announced healthcare communications veterans Linda Dyson, MPH, and former broadcast journalist Drew Levinson, have joined its leadership team as executive vice president and senior vice president, respectively. The addition deepens the firm’s expertise and diversifies its capabilities for healthcare companies. LifeSci Public Relations, launched in February 2017, provides global corporate communications and public relations (PR) capabilities for its clients in the life sciences. The firm specializes in media relations, corporate visibility, digital and social media, product and commercial communications, crisis communications and communications advisory. LSPR and LifeSci Advisors are, together, the largest integrated healthcare-specific PR and investor relations (IR) firm with operations throughout the US, Europe and Israel.
“We are seeing substantial demand for LifeSci’s unique services. LifeSci is the only firm to offer a comprehensive approach to a fully integrated PR and IR strategy, leveraging a multidisciplinary team with deep domain expertise on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Matt Middleman, M.D., president and founding partner of LifeSci Public Relations. “We offer our clients the efficiency and value that comes from our integrated PR and IR approach, which has contributed to the dramatic growth we are experiencing. Ms. Dyson and Mr. Levinson add significant diversity and communications experience to our talent base, which now includes seven M.D.s and Ph.D.s.”
Ms. Dyson and Mr. Levinson join a LifeSci Public Relations team of physicians, scientists and media relations/communications professionals with decades of experience working with both emerging life science companies and large pharmaceutical companies, covering every therapeutic space and technological field. In addition to these hires, the firm has expanded its social and digital media expertise, with additional recent senior talent acquisitions in that space.
“LifeSci now has a team with diversity of expertise that is unmatched in the industry. Each LifeSci client receives hands-on attention from a senior, expert team,” said Dr. Middleman. “The PR team operates seamlessly with the experienced investment community experts on the IR team, which further enhances the quality of our PR work. Similarly, the medical, scientific and communications experts on the PR team enhance the work being done by the IR team. Our clients are benefiting from the synergies.”
