‘Lucifer’ season 2’s episode 10, entitled “Quid Pro Ho”, will find Charlotte using his son’s relationship with Chloe to her advantage. She will use Chloe against her son to try and convince him to go back home with her.
The brief synopsis for “Quid Pro Ho” posted on Broadway World reads, “Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) is determined to get Lucifer (Tom Ellis) to leave Earth by turning Chloe (Lauren German) against him. Meanwhile, Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside) has begun working as Charlotte's soldier, which makes Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt) question his loyalty.”
It seems that Charlotte’s desperation to take her son back to Heaven will lead her to destroy his relationship with Chloe, one of the humans he cares about the most.
The preceding episode, entitled “Homewrecker”, Charlotte got a little too friendly with Chloe’s ex-husband Dan (Kevin Alejandro). She then strongly believed that Chloe was one of Lucifer’s reasons for staying on Earth. She also met a bomb maker and planned to kill the lady detective with a bomb planted in her car.
Charlotte and her son crossed paths and got into many arguments regarding his overstaying with mortals. She tried to lure him to return to Heaven with her but he was adamant about calling Earth his new home much to his mother’s dismay. It seems that the exiled wife of God will stop at nothing to bring her family back together where they belong.
The promo opened with Lucifer telling Charlotte, “Promise me that you won’t touch her.” Charlotte then wonders why Chloe is so special since he is fiercely protecting her. The images for episode 10 posted on Flickering Myth also showed Lucifer and Chloe sharing a quiet, intimate evening together. Perhaps he will finally admit his feelings for her or will show her his true form in the incoming episode.
Meanwhile, Charlotte finds an ally in her other son Amenadiel. This arrangement will make Maze question his actual allegiance and motives.
‘Lucifer’ season 2’s episode 10, entitled “Quid Pro Ho”, is scheduled to air on Fox on November 28, 2016. It was directed by Nathan Hope and written by Ildy Modrovich and Julia Fontana. It will be followed by episode 11, entitled "Stewardess Interruptus", directed by Greg Beeman.
