NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Feb. 16, 2016 --

What:	Shipbuilders from Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Newport News
	Shipbuilding (NYSE:HII) division will join Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and
	Greater Williamsburg and community leaders to dedicate the 13^th Habitat
	for Humanity house that the shipyard has helped to build.

	Speakers will include Ray Bagley, vice president of trades operations,
	Newport News Shipbuilding; Che Henderson, president, Habitat for
	Humanity board of directors; Newport News Vice Mayor Rob Coleman;
	city council members Sharon P. Scott, Tina Vick and Dr. Patricia
	Woodbury; Karen R. Wilds, executive director, Newport News
	Redevelopment and Housing Authority; and Karen Joyner, CEO of the
	Virginia Peninsula Food Bank.

During the dedication ceremony, the keys to the new house will be given to LaShand Coleman and her children, Dhestini and Dwayne “D.J.” The shipyard has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg since 2002 to build homes for families in Hampton Roads.
