BRIDGEPORT, Conn., March 28, 2018 -- The PMT Group, Inc., parent company of Moore Tool, Moore Nanotechnology Systems, and Producto Corporation, today announced that Mark Boomgarden has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Tool and Moore Nanotechnology Systems, effective April 16, 2018. Len Chaloux, the Co-founder and President / CEO of Moore Nanotechnology Systems, will be stepping down and serve as President Emeritus through the end of calendar year 2018, at which time he will retire.

Len Chaloux, President & CEO of Moore Nanotechnology, stated, “After two decades of leading and growing Nanotech’s organization from its formation in 1997 to the renowned global brand that it is today, I have decided that now is the right time for me to retire and transition the company’s leadership to Mark. His experience in custom and consumer optical markets, which includes years of working with Nanotech’s equipment, made Mark my first recommendation as my successor. I look forward to working with Mark during this transition.”

Mr. Boomgarden has 20+ years of business and technology leadership experience including manufactured products, licensing of intellectual property, large-scale research & development and new company formation. He has held key executive leadership positions in both private and public companies, with expertise in business development, operations, engineering and supply chain - domestically and internationally.
Most recently, Mark was co-founder, Corporate Vice President & Vice President of Operations at Akoustis, a technology company that designed, developed and manufactured single-crystal RF filters for the mobile phone industry. Prior to Akoustis, Mark served as Vice President and General Manager of the wafer-level optics organization at Tessera Technologies, Inc., along with Vice President of their Wafer Level Camera business. Prior to Tessera, Mark held numerous operations and engineering leadership positions at Digital Optics Corporation and Alcatel. Mark is a veteran of the United States Navy.
