Martinez's XRP Ledger Chart Tracks $49.7 Billion in Transfers, Not Purchases.

Santiment's measure includes payments and transfers between wallets. Crypto analyst Ali Martinez linked the chart he shared Oct. 19 to a possible $1.25 price floor.

A chart shared Oct. 19 by crypto analyst Ali Martinez showed about $49.7 billion in XRP (XRP) transfer value, but on-chain transfer value cannot establish how much investors bought or how much fresh capital arrived.

Its final bar was markedly taller than the chart's earlier readings. It represented value moving across the XRP Ledger, where the same tokens can contribute to the total each time they change addresses.

Santiment's daily dollar transaction-volume metric values tokens at their price when each transfer occurs. Payments and movements between wallets count toward the measure. Repeated routing can add several entries to the aggregate for the same XRP.

Exchange trading volume reflects trades, while a ledger transfer can occur without a purchase. Some transfers may be connected to trading, but the $49.7 billion chart reading does not reveal the amount investors paid for XRP or how much new capital entered the asset.

Martinez discussed the transfer reading while XRP traded around $1.25, which he identified as a possible price floor. In that post, he presented $2 as a potential target if XRP holds $1.25. The transfer reading alone does not establish that a bottom has formed.

In a separate analysis of a three-day price chart, Martinez described a possible inverse head-and-shoulders pattern and called for a sustained close above $1.56 in his $2 scenario. He also identified $1 as a downside level if XRP falls below $1.25, as earlier EconoTimes coverage of his price chart explained.

Those conditions come from two analyses: holding $1.25 was central to the post about transfers, while the $1.56 closing level came from the three-day chart. Whether XRP holds $1.25 and records a sustained close above $1.56 are the next price indicators Martinez identified.
