The launch of “Marvel’s Avengers” is one of the biggest events in the gaming community next week as it goes live on all platforms. Square Enix has now laid out the important details, along with the exact schedules for those with Early Access privilege, to help gamers prepare for its release.
‘Marvel’s Avengers’ release date and Early Access exact times
Gamers who got any of the three pre-order editions of “Marvel’s Avengers” are getting the Early Access privilege. This will allow them to access the game’s full content and features 72 hours before it goes live for the rest of the gaming world.
The official release date of “Marvel’s Avengers” is set on Friday, Sept. 4, at midnight on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and 9 a.m. PDT on PC and Google Stadia. This means the game’s Early Access will be up on Tuesday, Sept 1, at the same time mentioned for every gaming platform.
The Early Access perk is not the only bonus included in the “Marvel’s Avengers” pre-order editions, but fans can still take advantage of it purchase the physical and digital Deluxe Edition ($), PS4 Digital Edition ($), and physical-only Earth’s Mightiest Edition ($) anytime before the game’s release. Anyone who wants to join the Early Access can do so by securing a pre-order until Monday.
All “Marvel’s Avengers” pre-order editions can still be purchased beyond Sept. 1 and before Sept. 4 to receive other exclusive items. The bonus content varies from in-game currency credits, cosmetics, and other customization options.
‘Marvel’s Avengers’ system requirements include free 90GB storage space on consoles?
What Square Enix has yet to announce is the file size of the base game on launch day. A report surfaced on Twitter claiming that “early copies” of the game have leaked through video game retailers, and it supposedly revealed the “Marvel’s Avengers” file size would be around 90GB.
Due to early copies of the game floating around due to certain retailers, it appears Marvel’s Avengers will be 90 GB

That number is not entirely surprising considering how huge recent games have become. Also, it is somewhat close to the indicated free storage space needed to install “Marvel’s Avengers” on PC, per Steam, which is a minimum of 75GB and a recommended 110GB. What Square Enix has confirmed is that a Day One Patch will be released with an “approximately 18GB” file size.
