Things are bound to get more interesting in “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” chapter 17. Mash, who was lost while looking for the room of his next subject, unknowingly entered into a room occupied by one of Magia Lupus’ seven members.
In the recent “Mashle” manga chapter 16, which can be read on Mangaplus, Lance explained how students are sorted into the three dorms based on their traits. The Adler dorm, where Mash belongs, is for students with courage and conviction, the Orca dorm is for those who display wisdom and willingness while the Lang dorm is for those with ability and ambition.
Sorting is done by the animated bones of a unicorn. All that’s needed is for a student to simply place his or her hand on its horn and it’ll read the student's thoughts to choose the appropriate dorm.
But even the enchanted unicorn skeleton ran into some problems when reading Mash’s thoughts during the sorting process. No matter how hard it tried, all it could see are creampuffs filling the student’s head. In the end, it had no choice but to arbitrarily declare that pastry lovers should go to Adler.
Lance revealed that Lang’s elite, a group of seven talented students who call themselves the Magia Lupus, has been grabbing coins from other students lately. Lance warned Mash to be careful as they have him in their sights.
In fact, the person who fought Mash in the forest, Silva, was just one of the group’s lackeys. Inside a room somewhere in the school, the same person was kneeling in front of another student while apologizing. “Our Lord Able already gave you a chance,” another student, who is most likely a subordinate to the one named Able, answered.
“It must be hard to go on living knowing that you’re worthless,” Abel, who was carrying what looks like a doll, told Silva. “Don’t worry; you won’t have to shoulder that burden anymore.” Using his magic, Abel transformed Silva into a puppet.
Apparently, Abel was the one specifically targeting Mash all along. “The Divine Visionary should be me not that riffraff from Adler, right mother?” Abel told the doll he was holding.
But right at that moment, the door suddenly opened. Apparently, Mash got lost while looking for the room for his next subject.
“You know that’s a doll you’re talking to?” Mash told the startled Abel as soon as he entered. “Also, I may have broken your door. Sorry.”
Things will definitely get interesting in “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” chapter 17. After all, Abel has been targeting Mash all this time, and, with his target in his own domain, Abel isn’t likely going to let the opportunity go to waste.
Abel might initially feel that it is beneath him to deal with Mash directly in “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” chapter 17. Thus he will send his subordinates to deal with Mash in the upcoming manga chapter.
“Mashle” chapter 17 will arrive on June 1, 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
