McDonald’s UK announced that it will be bringing back some old-time favorite sandwiches this week. The fast-food chain will also be adding several other food items, and all of these are coming this month.
According to the UK’s Maldon Standard, there will be a twist to McDonald’s Big Mac this week as it will be replacing the usual beef patty with will two crispy chicken fillets. The restaurant said that the Chicken Big Mac is arriving on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
For customers who love beef, they are also in for a big surprise as the Double Big Mac is also returning to the McDonald’s UK menu list this week. The burger joint has not yet revealed the prices for the newly-added foods, but it could be around £4.39 and up for a full meal option.
What’s more, the favorite Chicken Legend is also making its comeback at McDonald’s UK store outlets. As posted on the restaurant’s website, this sandwich is made with “succulent chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating, with lettuce and Cool Mayo in a warm, toasted bakehouse roll.”

Customers will also be happy to know that McDonald’s UK is adding the Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry to the list of dessert options. These are priced at £1.49, and the small version is only 99p.
Lastly, the Mozzarella Dippers will re-appear on the menu, and they will be offered in a box of three for £1.89. It is also available for a box to share, priced at £5.09.
Customers are looking forward to having these favorite items again as they have been removed from the menu in the previous months due to supply shortages. In other McDonald’s units worldwide, the french fry was limited in stores due to potato shortage. They were either taken off or reduced in quantity.
Finally, Good To Know mentioned that some of the returning food menus at McDonald’s UK will only be around for a limited time. In particular, the Chicken Big Mac will be available until Mar. 15.
