DALLAS, Aug. 08, 2017 -- McElhenny Sheffield Capital Management, a Dallas based Registered Investment Advisor, today announced that Josh Cohen has joined the firm as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR). Josh has extensive experience investing for ultra-high net worth clients.
Previously, Josh was a partner at Regal Investments, L.P. where he worked alongside two of Dallas’ most legendary traders. He later served as partner at Ackerman Capital Management. Josh was also previously a managing partner of the hedge fund Quad Asset Management, L.L.C. After Quad, Josh successfully invested his own capital and that of a select number of high net worth clients. He started his career as an investment banker in corporate finance for Lehman Brothers. Josh was a long-time member of the board of directors for Free the Children and currently serves on the board of Sing for Hope. Josh has a B.A. in economics from the University of Texas.
