Microsoft’s Oct. 28 earnings will show how Azure performed against the company’s forecast for about 45% growth in constant currency, while a Binance derivative offers separate exposure to its share price.
The fiscal 2027 first-quarter report follows a quarter in which Azure and other cloud services revenue grew 43% from a year earlier. For the period ended June 30, 2026, Microsoft reported $90 billion in total revenue, up 18%, and $59.3 billion in Microsoft Cloud revenue, up 27%.
On its July earnings call, Microsoft said Azure customer demand exceeded available supply. The company said the timing of added capacity and the mix of contracts could affect quarterly growth. Its forecast for about 45% Azure growth is the benchmark for the next result.
Binance’s MSFTUSDT is a perpetual contract linked to the price of Microsoft common stock. It is a derivative rather than a share, so a position in the contract does not give its holder ownership of Microsoft stock. Binance launched it April 20, 2026.
The contract trades around the clock and settles in Tether (USDT). Binance lists an eight-hour funding cycle and maximum leverage of 10 times. Access may vary by region.
Microsoft plans to release its results after U.S. markets close Oct. 28. Its earnings webcast is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET (21:30 UTC).
