The “Money Heist” season 4 release date has already been announced by Netflix and will be available by April 3, 2020. Here’s what is known so far about the fourth season of Netflix’s third most popular original series.
“Money Heist” season 4 plot
At this point, the biggest question on every fan’s mind is what the upcoming season could bring. For this, Netflix suggested to look at the events in the past season to look for hints on where the plot might be heading.
In the third season, the crew was back together for another heist. Their new target is the Bank of Spain for an even bigger heist than their Royal Mint of Madrid job.
Of course, it was a ruse at the same time. One of their primary goal was to rescue one of their members who was captured.
But not everything always goes according to plan. After the Professor assumed Raquel to be dead, he called out DEFCON 2 leading to the use of some serious firepower against a tank. Things got complicated even further when Nairobi was hit in the chest by a police sniper and Lisbon ended up in police custody.
Will the crew do another heist even bigger than their two previous jobs in “Money Heist” season 4 to rescue Lisbon? That just might be the case. After all, as the title of the series suggests, the show is all about heists and the complications that goes with their execution.
“Money Heist” season 4 cast
Fans will be seeing a lot of familiar faces coming back in “Money Heist” season 4. Based on the trailer released by Netflix, the actors seen in the third season will be back to reprise their respective roles.
Thus, fans can expect Alvaro Morte to play as the Professor once more, Ursula Corbero to reprise her role as Tokyo, Miguel Herran to play as Rio and Itziar Ituno to pay as Lisbon, according to Pop Culture Times. Denver will still be played by Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo is back as Stockholm, Rodrigo De la Serna as Palermo, Darko Peric as Bogota and Luka Peros as Marsella.
But there are a few surprises as well. Actor Pedro Alonso will still play Berlin although the character already died last season. It’s not clear how he will appear in “Money Heist” season 4 but there’s a good chance he’ll be shown in a flashback.
Alba Flores will be back as well for her role as Nairobi. This might mean that her character, who was shot in the chest by a police sniper, might survive the ordeal after all.
