Monster Beverage Corporation posted record third-quarter net sales of $2.56 billion, up 16.7% from a year earlier, while overseas sales grew faster and represented about 47% of revenue.
Sales to customers outside the United States rose 28.1% to $1.20 billion. Those sales accounted for about 47% of the total, compared with about 43% in the third quarter of 2025.
Net income increased 8.4% to $568.4 million. Diluted earnings per share rose 7.8% to 29 cents.
Gross margin, or gross profit as a share of sales, narrowed to 54.7% from 55.7% a year earlier. Monster said aluminum can expenses, inbound freight costs and the geographic mix of sales pressured the measure. Pricing actions helped cushion the decline.
Sales in the Monster Energy Drinks segment rose 17.1% to $2.37 billion. Strategic Brands increased 19.8% to $156.4 million, while Alcohol Brands sales fell 13.6% to $28.5 million.
For the first nine months of 2026, net sales advanced 20.9% to $7.45 billion and net income rose 18.3% to $1.72 billion.
An investor presentation accompanying the results included third-quarter scanner figures from Monster's proprietary NielsenIQ database. Monster said those figures had not been independently verified.
Monster furnished its results release and investor presentation as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 to a Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Nov. 5. The filing said the information was furnished and was not deemed filed for purposes of Section 18. Monster said certain financial statements, footnotes and other information would appear in its quarterly report on Form 10-Q.
