‘Mr. Robot’ season 2’s episode 11 will be the first half of a two-part finale that may find Elliot finally re-teaming with Mr. Robot. Meanwhile, Darlene and Cisco’s fate would also be revealed after a restaurant shootout left the preceding episode with a cliffhanger.
The incoming episode entitled "eps2.9_pyth0n-pt1.p7z" is the first in a thrilling two-part season finale. The synopsis posted on Carter Matt read, “Angela makes an unexpected acquaintance. Elliot does the same. Dom engages in an interesting ama.”
In the preceding episode’s final scenes as recounted by Pop Matters, Dom (Grace Gummer) managed to track down Darlene (Carly Chaikin) and Cisco (Michael Drayer) to a diner after learning of the latter’s whereabouts. A short moment after, a shooter open fires on them and commits suicide afterwards. Although Dom emerges from the restaurant all bloodied up, it is unclear whether Darlene and Cisco continue to live.
Meanwhile, the FBI is closing in on Elliot (Rami Malek) and the other members of fsociety. Questions remain whether Dom's boss is actually working with Whiterose (BD Wong) guaranteeing Elliot’s safety after he’s been branded a terrorist. It also remains unknown whether Elliot will return to working with Mr. Robot (Christian Slater).
In the incoming episode’s promo, Dom is seen talking to a yet unidentified person. She said, “This is no longer just be a terrorist attack… This could be an act of war.” It was speculated that the person may be Elliot himself.
