“My Hero Academia” Chapter 209 is setting up the final match between Class 1-A and Class 1-B with Monoma and Midoriya’s team going head to head against each other. It goes without saying that firepower is heavily favored on Midoriya’s side given his Quirk.
However, Monoma doesn’t necessarily need power in order to dispose of Deku’s team. Although the blonde student isn’t the strongest or the fastest among both classes, he makes up for it in technique, cooperation, and intelligence. “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209 will likely feature more brilliant tactics from Neito as has been shown during the Sports Festival Arc.
But what’s really interesting to see is what will happen if Monoma tries to copy Midoriya’s Quirk. Will he be as powerful as Deku and possess the One For All ability? That might be the case. The problem for Monoma is that Deku’s Quirk is notoriously difficult to master. And if the blond hero does try to use the ability to its full potential, he’ll likely end up damaging his body similar to what Deku went through during his early days of wielding the Quirk. “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209 is a great way of exploring Monoma’s Quirk since it has tremendous potential to scale to ridiculous heights.
Hardcore anime fans already know that an ability that is able to replicate others’ powers is among one of the strongest talents in any universe. For instance, Chrollo Lucifer in “Hunter X Hunter” possess such an ability and he’s one of the most feared characters in the series. Of course, Monoma’s Quirk doesn’t come close to Chrollo’s but the foundations of it are undeniably similar. Paired with his high intelligence and technique, Monoma could very well provide a difficult matchup for Midoriya in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209.
The downside for Monoma is that he only has 5 minutes to make use of the power he’s copying. After that, the replicated ability vanishes. The other drawback is that he’s got to get close and touch a person in order to copy their Quirk, which puts him at a tremendous risk of getting injured. Whatever the case, fans are just excited that Monoma will be stepping into the spotlight in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209. This is doubly true since the character is probably angry that Bakugo managed to win his previous match without losing any of his teammates.
