‘NCIS’ Season 16 Episode 3 Spoilers: What to Expect from ‘Boom’; Here’s Where to Watch It Online

NCIS

“NCIS” season 16 episode 3 is airing next week and it will be another action-packed and tense episode, based on the recent video teaser. Lots of things will happen and here are the highlights of the upcoming sequel.

“NCIS” season 16 episode 3 is titled “BOOM” and according to a press release, its synopsis reads: “An agent is starstruck after the team investigates an explosion outside the home of a Navy SEAL and his wife, a popular reality TV star.”

It was added that Leon Vance’s (Rocky Carroll) progress as he undergoes physical therapy will be shown. It can be recalled that he was held hostage and his injuries needed such treatment.

The “NCIS” season 16 episode 3 promo starts with Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) informing the unit about a detonation. “An explosion outside a Navy Seal’s house,” he said.

Next, the special agent is shown at the crime scene with a blown-out car then Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) tells the “NCIS” veteran that another bomb has exploded. Jack Sloane (Maria Bello) is also keeping Vance updated and tells him that it is chaotic in the agency as the men are trying to catch and stop a serial bomber.

At the quarters, Gibbs wants to know who the next target is so they can rush and get people to safety. But unfortunately, the third bomb has exploded already. This made the agents more alert as they head out to go to the scene.

Meanwhile, a scene with Gibbs and Kasie Hines (Diona Reasonover) in the laboratory is shown then the former goes on to open a package sent to him. The mysterious “gift” turns out to be a bomb and it becomes clear that the bomber's or bombers’ target is Gibbs.

The trailer ends without revealing what happened after Gibbs opened the box. Did it explode? Why are they targeting the agent? These will be answered in “NCIS” season 16 episode 3, which will air on Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

For viewers outside the U.S. who do not have a cable subscription, they can still watch “NCIS” season 16 episode 3 via the CBS website. Express notes that Now TV is also offering live-streaming services.
