NDTV Profit's account of Indian market returns for Samvat 2082 puts Sansera Engineering first at 176.41%, while six listed companies crossed the 100% threshold and the outlet highlighted high valuations.
The outlet gave the comparison period as Oct. 21, 2025, through Nov. 2, 2026. Laurus Labs ranked second with a 160.84% rise, followed by Ather Energy at 129.29% and Acutaas Chemicals at 124.01%. Aether Industries advanced 113.22%, while Syrma SGS Technology had the smallest reported increase, at 104.48%.
NDTV Profit's headline refers to five stocks, but its article body names six. It presents Samvat 2082 as the Indian stock market's annual accounting cycle. The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) scheduled the period's opening-day Diwali Muhurat session for Oct. 21, 2025, the starting date used in the comparison.
The reported advances also sit alongside valuation figures that NDTV Profit said were above the Nifty 50's cited price-to-earnings ratio of 19.3 times. It put Laurus Labs at 146.05 times, Syrma SGS Technology at 95.94 times and Sansera Engineering at 78.93 times. A price-to-earnings ratio compares a company's share price with its earnings per share. The outlet also gave Aether Industries a multiple of 86.05 times and Acutaas Chemicals 92.02 times, while noting that future earnings growth would need to support the valuations.
A separate five-session ACE Equity comparison through Oct. 30 also placed Laurus among BSE 500 leaders; EconoTimes previously covered the shorter-term ranking.
The NSE's 2026 calendar lists the next Diwali Muhurat session for Sunday, Nov. 8, with trading hours to be announced separately.
