NDTV Profit’s Oct. 30, 2026, comparison named the biggest reported share-price decliner in each of three Indian equity benchmarks, with Inox Wind, Swiggy and ITC leading their respective small-, mid- and large-cap groups.

The outlet reported Inox Wind fell 64% in the Nifty Smallcap 250, Swiggy 57% in the Nifty Midcap 100 and ITC 37% in the Nifty 50. Those are stock-level declines, not the performance of the indexes as a whole.

A separate calculation supports the rounded Swiggy figure. Swiggy’s preliminary placement document records ₹409.95 as its lowest NSE closing price in October 2025, on Oct. 31. A historical price listing gives ₹176.60 as the Oct. 30, 2026, close. Comparing those closes yields a 56.9% price decline. This check does not establish which dates or method NDTV Profit used in its wider comparison.

NDTV Profit also reported Reliance Power down 62% and KEC International down 59% among small-cap stocks. In the midcap group, Rail Vikas Nigam and Godfrey Phillips India fell 45% each, while Suzlon Energy fell 43%. The outlet listed Brainbees Solutions and KPIT Technologies down 54% each and PB Fintech down 44%.

For the Nifty 50, NDTV Profit reported Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles down 35%, Jio Financial Services down 33%, and HDFC Bank and Maruti Suzuki down 30% each. Its comparison does not say whether it used index membership at the period’s start, at its end or throughout the period, and it did not link the declines to company-specific catalysts.
