India’s Nifty 50 closed 0.22% lower at 22,698.85 on Oct. 28, as NDTV Profit reported trade levels attributed to ICICI Securities analyst Jay Thakkar for three listed names for the next session.

ICICI Direct’s index data put the decline at 50.90 points. NDTV Profit reported Thakkar’s near-term Nifty 50 range at 22,500 to 22,800, with support at 22,500 and then 22,200. His broader range was 22,200 to 23,000.

For BSE, NDTV Profit reported an entry band of ₹3,480 to ₹3,510, a stop below ₹3,430 and targets from ₹3,600 to ₹3,640. The outlet said Thakkar cited a break above swing resistance, short covering and options activity.

The reported Fortis Healthcare entry range was ₹755 to ₹760, with a stop below ₹735 and targets of ₹790 and ₹820. NDTV Profit linked the setup to a recent price correction and options positioning.

For LTM, the outlet listed an entry range of ₹4,080 to ₹4,110, a stop below ₹4,000 and targets of ₹4,200 and ₹4,260. Its report cited short covering and options positioning as part of Thakkar’s rationale.

The report’s explanations focused on chart patterns and derivatives data; it did not cite earnings or operating news at the companies. It gave no holding period or expiry.
