Venture accelerators Brinc and digital entertainment, blockchain, and gamification company Animoca have collaborated to enable new NFT projects with their new NFT Accelerator Launchpad Luna.
Those accepted into the acceleration program will receive a launchpad, training, and up to $500,000 in investments in exchange for equity and/or tokens in the project.
The Launchpad Luna accelerator will identify and foster NFT innovation in art, culture, collectibles, entertainment, media, streaming, gaming, insurance, finance, and data management.
DeFi and additional verticals will be added in the future.
The accelerator will also offer support from mentors and corporate partners working in the NFT space.
Yat Siu, co-founder, and chairman of Animoca Brands, described Launchpad Luna as a collaboration between Animoca Brands and Brinc with the mission to invest in blockchain-focused startups that are shaping the future of the Web, driving digitalization, and enabling a more inclusive digital economy.
Siu added that ideal partners for funding are those that align with their mission in supporting an inclusive digital economy and who believe in the impact that NFTs can have.
