The National Stock Exchange of India Limited’s board is scheduled to consider Q2 FY27 results on Nov. 3, while Mint reported NSE shares reached ₹1,794 in Tuesday trading.
The company’s board calendar sets Nov. 3 for consideration of its Q2 FY27 financial results. NSE’s announcements page identifies the reporting period as the quarter and half-year ended Sept. 30, 2026.
In a report dated Nov. 3, Mint said the shares opened at ₹1,786, above a Monday close of ₹1,779, and touched an intraday high of ₹1,794.
Mint said Kantilal Chhaganlal Securities gave NSE a buy rating and set a ₹2,205 target. The brokerage estimated a 13.5% revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for FY26–FY29, and Mint reported it valued NSE at 35 times estimated FY29 earnings. The outlet also quoted the firm describing NSE’s model as “capital-light” and technology-led, with strong operating leverage. It cited erosion in index-options market share and regulatory changes as risks.
A CAGR expresses a compounded average rate across multiple years, so the 13.5% estimate does not describe a forecast for each individual year. The 35-times valuation uses projected FY29 earnings, according to Mint. The rating and estimates are the brokerage’s views as reported by Mint, not NSE guidance.
NSE listed on Sept. 24, 2026, after a ₹22,562 crore offer for sale of existing shares, according to the company’s announcement. The prospectus describes the sale as involving existing shares and identifies BSE as the listing venue. It also cited changes to weekly-expiry rules set by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), higher securities transaction taxes and competition as risks to derivatives activity and NSE’s market share.
EconoTimes previously covered brokerage targets for NSE after the Oct. 30 close. The board is scheduled to consider the results on Nov. 3.
