The Nasdaq-100 is in correction territory, more than 10% below its October record high. Invesco QQQ Trust, Series 1 (QQQ), an exchange-traded fund designed to track the index, is testing its 200-day moving average for the first time since March.

That level is QQQ's 200-day moving average. The exchange-traded fund is designed to track the Nasdaq-100.

An earlier EconoTimes report on the index's October slide said the benchmark had also fallen below its 100-day moving average and noted semiconductor and artificial-intelligence companies among its constituents.
