SAGINAW, Mich., Dec. 14, 2016 -- NetSource One Inc., a premier technology solutions provider raising the standard for technology support with experience, quality and value for more than 20 years, has completed rigorous examinations of its data security processes to achieve compliance with the Service Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) standards.
The demanding third-party examination was administered by the professional IT assurance and compliance staff at 360 Advanced, a respected national Qualified Security Assessor, HITRUST CSF Assessor and Certified Public Accountant firm based in St. Petersburg, FL.
The SOC 2 report attests to the effectiveness of the data management controls a company has in place that relate to security, availability and confidentiality.
“By successfully completing a third-party audit under the SOC 2 compliance standards, we have achieved an independent assessment of the security controls we provide for our clients,” said Wes Reynolds, Information Security Specialist at the mid-Michigan firm. “It is a clear indication of our dedication to maintaining and documenting the most stringent data security environment possible.”
Amanda Bowman, Marketing Coordinator at NetSource One, said no other similar firm in the Great Lakes Bay Region has earned the SOC 2 designation.
Reynolds explained the achievement provides NetSource One with a clear competitive advantage, and has been one of the unique distinctions that draws clients to NetSource One.
