‘New Girl’ season 6’s episode 12, titled “The Cubicle,” is set to follow Jess as she goes to extremes to pay off Robby’s huge medical bill. Meanwhile, Cece continues to struggle with her new modeling agency gig and gets help from Schmidt and Winston.
The synopsis for episode 12 posted on TV Muse reads, “When Jess (Zooey Deschanel) insists on covering Robby's (Nelson Franklin) medical bill, she is stunned after finding out the total and goes to extremes to find a way to help pay.
With Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Winston's (Lamorne Morris) help, Cece (Hannah Simone) attempts to get her new modeling agency off the ground (and out of the loft), but is discouraged when her first client is inspired to change career paths. Meanwhile, Reagan (Megan Fox) puts off reading Nick's new novel.”
It seems that Jess’ good intentions of covering for Robby’s recent admission at the hospital will put her in dire straits when she learns of the massive amount procured during his hospitalization. It would be interesting to see how she tries to figure out a way to pay off the medical bills.
In the preceding episode, titled “Raisin’s Back,” Jess attempted to adjust to Reagan’s presence back at the loft and in her ex-beau Nick’s life. Reagan decided to relocate from Seattle to be with Nick and was re-introduced back in the series during the episode "Christmas Eve Eve."
According to the recap posted on the A.V. Club, Jess tried to mind her own business but still managed to put herself in challenging positions when she gets dragged in Reagan and Nick’s drama.
Meanwhile, the incoming episode’s trailer doesn’t tease enough details on the plot as it only featured the gang sharing some laughs by the dinner table as they press a big red button that says, “Bull!” One specific thing of note, though, is the large office cubicle set up right beside the dining area.
It seems that Cece would need some help getting started with her modeling agency that’s currently housed in the gang’s loft. Her husband Schmidt and friend Winston may need to come up with a plan to get Cece and her business on track.
‘New Girl’ season 6’s episode 12, titled “The Cubicle,” is scheduled to air on Fox on January 10, 2017. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "Cece's Boys," scheduled for January 17.
