Microsoft plans to roll out the New Xbox One Experience – the fastest, most social Xbox experience ever, on November 12. It integrates speed and versatility of Windows 10.
“The New Xbox One Experience is coming November 12th”, the website reads.
Xbox One’s backward compatibility feature update has been much awaited, ever since Microsoft announced in August that it will be rolled out in November.
For an existing Xbox One preview member the backwards compatibility update is already rolling out to systems, but for everyone else it will be available from November 12th, The Verge reported. The amount of supported titles is limited for the moment, but the company is working to allow several more in the coming months.
The new dashboard incorporates features that focus on faster performance and improved game experience, and a design that is much easier to use with a controller instead of Kinect. Xbox One has been redesigned so that users no longer have to go in and out of friends, party, and messages apps to access basic functions like inviting Xbox Live friends to a game.
“With the new guide on Xbox One, gaming must-haves like party invites, messages, and notifications are just one button-push away. Access everything you want without ever leaving or pausing your game”, the website reads.
The Verge further reports that the company is also planning to integrate Cortana to Xbox One. Although it is likely to be available next year, preview members will be able to test Cortana before the end of the year.
